Was wir speichern
What we store
Profilangaben (Name, Alter, Instrument), Übungsdaten (gespielte Töne, Genauigkeit, Übungszeit), von dir freigegebene Aufnahmen und Fotos an deine Lehrkraft, und -- falls du zustimmst -- ein Benutzername für die Bestenliste und die Community. Für Eltern und Lehrkräfte (nicht für Kinder): bei der Anmeldung mit Apple erhalten wir deine E-Mail-Adresse. Der Benutzername für Bestenliste und Community ist bewusst pseudonym -- er enthält nie deinen echten Namen, Wohnort oder dein Alter. Nichts davon wird an Werbenetzwerke oder Analysefirmen weitergegeben; diese App bindet keinen einzigen Tracking- oder Analyse-Dienst ein.
Profile details (name, age, instrument), practice data (notes played, accuracy, practice time), recordings and photos you share with your teacher, and -- if you agree -- a username for the leaderboard and the community. For parents and teachers (not for children): signing in with Apple gives us your email address. The username for the leaderboard and community is deliberately pseudonymous -- it never contains your real name, location, or age. None of this is passed to advertising networks or analytics firms; this app does not integrate a single tracking or analytics service.

Das meiste liegt in deinem privaten iCloud-Bereich (Apple CloudKit). Aufnahmen, die du mit einer Lehrkraft teilst, liegen in einem eigenen, nur für euch beide sichtbaren Bereich. Manches ist aber absichtlich für alle sichtbar: Community-Beiträge und Tipps, Bestenlisten-Einträge und Wochenbild-Inhalte kann jede Person mit der App lesen -- dort steht dein gewählter Benutzername, nicht dein echter Name. Beiträge in der Community werden vor der Veröffentlichung von einer Moderation geprüft. Ein Teil läuft außerdem über unser eigenes Backend bei Cloudflare, unserem Auftragsverarbeiter: Übungsdaten (Stück, Genauigkeit, Punkte, Dauer, Benutzername) liegen dort in einer Datenbank (Cloudflare D1), mit Lehrkräften geteilte Audio-Aufnahmen im Dateispeicher (Cloudflare R2). Cloudflare speichert das nur in unserem Auftrag und nutzt es nicht für eigene Zwecke.
Most of it lives in your private iCloud area (Apple CloudKit). Recordings you share with a teacher sit in a separate area visible only to the two of you. Some things are deliberately visible to everyone, though: community posts and tips, leaderboard entries and weekly-picture content can be read by anyone with the app -- they show the username you chose, not your real name. Community posts are checked by moderation before being published. Part of it also runs through our own backend on Cloudflare, our data processor: practice data (piece, accuracy, points, duration, username) is kept there in a database (Cloudflare D1), and audio recordings shared with teachers in file storage (Cloudflare R2). Cloudflare stores this only on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes.

How long
Übungszeit-Einträge werden nach 400 Tagen automatisch gelöscht. Mit einer Lehrkraft geteilte Aufnahmen werden nach 90 Tagen automatisch gelöscht -- dabei wird die Audiodatei entfernt, der zugehörige Metadaten-Eintrag (z. B. wann geübt wurde) bleibt zu Statistikzwecken bestehen. Für alles andere gilt: Du kannst jederzeit um Löschung bitten (siehe unten).
Practice-time entries are automatically deleted after 400 days. Recordings shared with a teacher are automatically deleted after 90 days -- the audio file is removed, the associated metadata entry (e.g. when it was practised) remains for statistical purposes. For everything else: you can request deletion at any time (see below).
Einwilligung und Widerruf
Consent and revocation
Ist die Person unter 16, verarbeiten wir Daten mit Außenwirkung nur, wenn eine erziehungsberechtigte Person in der App eingewilligt hat (Art. 8 DSGVO). Die App fragt direkt nach der Altersangabe danach; bestätigt wird hinter der Elternsperre -- Rechenaufgabe und danach Geräte-Code oder Face ID. Gespeichert werden dabei nur der Zeitpunkt, das Alter des Kindes und die angegebene Rolle (Elternteil oder andere erziehungsberechtigte Person) -- kein Name, keine Adresse, keine Geräte-Kennung. Ohne diese Einwilligung bleiben Cloud-Sicherung, Teilen und die Lehrkraft-Funktionen aus; alles zum Üben funktioniert weiter. Der Widerruf steht jederzeit in der App unter "Profil bearbeiten" und schaltet diese Funktionen sofort wieder ab. Ob die bestätigende Person wirklich erziehungsberechtigt ist, kann die App nicht prüfen -- das ist eine bewusste, dokumentierte Grenze, keine Behauptung von Sicherheit.
If the person is under 16, we only process data with outward effect if a parent or guardian has given consent in the app (Art. 8 GDPR). The app asks for this directly after the age is entered; confirmation happens behind the parental gate -- a maths question followed by a device passcode or Face ID. Only the timestamp, the child's age, and the stated role (parent or other guardian) are stored -- no name, no address, no device identifier. Without this consent, cloud backup, sharing, and teacher features stay off; everything for practising still works. Revocation is available at any time in the app under "Edit profile" and switches these features off again immediately. Whether the confirming person is really a guardian cannot be verified by the app -- this is a deliberate, documented limitation, not a claim of a safeguard that doesn't exist.
Übermittlung in Drittländer
Third-country transfers
Unsere eigenen Backends laufen bei Cloudflare, das ein weltweites Netz betreibt. Eine Verarbeitung außerhalb der EU lässt sich deshalb nicht ausschließen, und wir behaupten hier keinen bestimmten Serverstandort. Für solche Übermittlungen stützen wir uns auf geeignete Garantien nach Art. 46 DSGVO -- Standardvertragsklauseln im Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag mit Cloudflare. Der größte Teil der Daten liegt weiterhin in Apples iCloud (CloudKit); dafür gelten Apples eigene Bedingungen.
Our own backends run on Cloudflare, which operates a worldwide network. Processing outside the EU therefore cannot be ruled out, and we make no claim about a specific server location. For such transfers we rely on appropriate safeguards under Art. 46 GDPR -- standard contractual clauses in the data processing agreement with Cloudflare. Most of the data remains in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit); Apple's own terms apply there.

Das Mikrofon hört beim Üben mit, um Tonhöhe und Rhythmus in Echtzeit zu bewerten -- diese Auswertung verlässt niemals dein Gerät als Aufnahme, nur wenn du selbst eine Aufnahme teilst. Die Kamera hat zwei Aufgaben: Beim Einscannen von Notenblättern wertet sie das Bild rein auf dem Gerät aus. Bei der Haltungsprüfung machst du selbst ein einzelnes Foto, das lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert wird, damit du es später ansehen kannst -- es wird nie automatisch übertragen oder synchronisiert. Nur wenn du dich aktiv dafür entscheidest, kannst du ein einzelnes Haltungsfoto mit der Lehrkraft deines Kindes teilen.
The microphone listens while you practise to evaluate pitch and rhythm in real time -- this evaluation never leaves your device as a recording, unless you choose to share a recording yourself. The camera has two jobs: when scanning sheet music, it evaluates the image entirely on-device. For the posture check, you take a single photo yourself, which is stored locally on your device so you can review it later -- it is never automatically transmitted or synced. Only if you actively choose to can you share a single posture photo with your child's teacher.

Age is self-reported on first launch and not verified -- this is a deliberate, documented limitation of this app, not a claim of a safeguard that doesn't exist. Purchases by underage users require explicit confirmation from a parent or guardian.
Community und Marktplatz
Community and marketplace
Wenn du Beiträge in der Community postest oder eigene Stücke im Marktplatz anbietest, sehen andere Nutzer:innen deinen gewählten Benutzernamen und den freigegebenen Inhalt. Beiträge werden vor der Veröffentlichung moderiert. Du kannst andere Nutzer:innen blockieren; blockierte Konten sehen deine Beiträge dann nicht mehr. Auf der optionalen Weltkarte erscheint -- nur falls du zustimmst -- ein Punkt für Land und Stadt aus deinem Community-Profil, nicht dein tatsächlicher Standort; wir fragen dein Gerät nie nach GPS-Daten. Käufe im Marktplatz werden über den jeweiligen Zahlungsanbieter abgewickelt -- wir speichern keine Zahlungsdaten selbst.
If you post in the community or offer your own pieces on the marketplace, other users see your chosen username and the shared content. Posts are moderated before publication. You can block other users; blocked accounts then no longer see your posts. On the optional world map -- only if you agree -- a point for the country and city from your community profile appears, not your actual location; we never ask your device for GPS data. Marketplace purchases are handled by the respective payment provider -- we do not store any payment data ourselves.
Lehrkräfte und Hausbereich
Teachers and institution area
Wenn deine Musikschule oder Lehrkraft dich einer Institution zuordnet, sehen berechtigte Rollen dort deine Leistungsakte, Anwesenheit und Bewertungen -- verwaltet durch die Institution, nicht durch uns. Das Web-Interface für Institutionen greift auf dieselben CloudKit-Daten zu wie die App, mit eigenem Rollen- und Rechtekonzept.
If your music school or teacher assigns you to an institution, authorized roles there can see your performance record, attendance, and assessments -- managed by the institution, not by us. The web interface for institutions accesses the same CloudKit data as the app, with its own role and permission model.
Deine Rechte
Your rights
Du kannst jederzeit Auskunft über deine gespeicherten Daten verlangen oder ihre Löschung beantragen. Schreib uns dafür an die unten stehende Adresse. Löschen geht auch ohne Anschreiben: In der App unter "Profil bearbeiten" steht bei "Konto" der Punkt "Konto und alle Daten unwiderruflich löschen" -- damit werden Konto, Übungsdaten und Aufnahmen sofort vom Server entfernt.
You can request information about your stored data or its deletion at any time. Write to us at the address below. Deletion is also possible without writing to us: in the app under "Edit profile", under "Account" there is the option "Permanently delete account and all data" -- this immediately removes the account, practice data, and recordings from the server.
